Cancelling Your Order
Cancelling your order during the Cooling Off period

Under an EU directive consumers have a right to cancel their order for what ever reason, in the UK this  forms part to the ‘Distance Selling Regulations (2000) It states in the regulation the a consumer may cancel an order place online for what ever reason up 7 working days after receiving the goods listed in the order. The consumer must recieve their refund no later that 30 days from the notification of their cancellation. beautifulhomesfurniture .co.uk will agree a full refund providing that the following  conditions of purchase exist:
•beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk were notified in the time stated
•The goods are returned to beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk in the condition they were delivered.
•The cost of returning the good is born by the customer
•The order is not a bespoke order

To notify beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk please send an e-mail notification to cancellations@beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk the subject should contain the words “Please cancel Order Number xxx” the “xxx’ being your order number found on the document issued to your and the point of placing your order. In the content area you your state that the goods are in good condition and your intend date of return and the method of return you intend to use. We will acknowledge the notification in writing. On receipt of the good back at our  warehouse we shall inspect the goods to ensure they are in the same condition as sent, if there is any discrepancy as to their condition we will contact you. Please ensure that you have a goods in transit insurance in place before dispatching any goods by a carrier.

Cancelling your order after the Cooling Off period

Should you wish to cancel your order after the cooling off period but before receiving your goods, you may do so by sending written notification to cancellations@beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk. If your goods are a stock line; or on order with the manufactures; or in our warehouse reserved for you then the cancellation will be subject to a 25% handling charge based on the order value.

We do not accept cancellation of made to order goods, almost all of our goods are made to order to meet your specification.Therefore we can not accept a cancellation, return or exchange of good unless they are proven to be defective, if you believe the goods are defective then please see our policy relating to Faulty/Damaged Goods.

We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than the refund for the goods. Our liability to you shall not in any event include any losses related to any other consequential loss whatsoever.

Cancellation with Layaway Scheme.

Our Layaway Scheme is provided to support customer purchasing  when their available spend budget maybe being used for other consumables. you may cancel your order by sending written notification to aftersales@beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk. When an order is place it is still viewed as an “offer to treat” and as such no contract is formed until  a “Confirmation of Order” has been sent’.  In the absence of a contract we reserver the right to apply a service charge of up to 25% of the order value If your goods are a stock line and have been reserved for you; or on order with the manufactures; or in our warehouse awaiting delivery.

Faulty/Damaged Goods
Any faulty or damaged goods must be reported to beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk by e-mail to customercare@beautifulhomesfurniture.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving the goods with a detailed account of the problem

If you have notified us of a problem with the goods within 24 hours of the delivery we will act upon the defect in the following way:
•If the defect is minor we will implement approprated remidial work to correct the defect under warranty.

•If the defect cannot be repaired then we will arrange an exchange of good.

If the goods need to be replace then we will leave the goods delivered with you for your use until the replacement goods are available, Once we receive your replacement goods will will contact you to arrange the exchange. You will be responsible for the safe keeping  and good condition of the good in your possession and they should be returned to us in saleable condition, should this not be the case then we reserve the right to charge a usage charge for the loan period which will be no more than 25% of the original order value.

If we are unable to repair the goods and  you do not want a replacement. we will arrange to have the goods collected and returned to our warehouse they will undergo and inspect  by one of our qualified staff after which we will advise you of any refund due to you. Any refund will be sent to you within 30 days of the inspection results.
This does not affect your statutory Rights if you are a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Returns Policy
Authorised Returns

The return of goods can only be accepted based on the conditions outlined in our cancellation policy and faulty/Damage Goods policy.

Unauthorised Returns

Goods can only be returned to us on agreement by us, should goods be returned with agreement then we will accept them in to our warehouse, however the goods will remain your property, we will photograph the goods and then put them into storage. we will then charge storage at £50 per week until you collect the good from us. we accept no liability for the condition of the good upon return to you, we will take all reasonable care to ensure they are returned to you in the same condition we received them from you
Exchange Policy
Exchanging your goods for other good is done at the beautifulhomesfurnature.co.uk dicretion. Any differential of the value of the exchange goods, if less then the original value will be refunded in the form of a credit note, if greater than the original value the you will be asked to pay the full amount before the exchange of goods takes place. Should you retain the original goods until the exchange goods are delivered then you will be responsible for the safe keeping  and good condition of the good in your possession and they should be returned to us in saleable condition, should this not be the case then we reserve the right to charge a usage charge for the loan period which will be no more than 25% of the original order value.
